Forum expresses deep condolences following the fatal cargo plane accident at Hong Kong International Airport

The Hong Kong Aviation Forum is deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic runway excursion of Emirates SkyCargo flight EK9788 at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) this morning, involving a Boeing 747-481, which resulted in the heartbreaking loss of two airport ground staff members.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. Our thoughts are with them, and with the entire HKIA community, during this difficult time.
We fully support the Air Accident Investigation Authority's efforts to determine the causes of this tragic accident.
