The Hong Kong Aviation Forum welcomes the government's decision to fine-tune inbound control measures. The government had announced that various inbound control measures would be fine-tuned from 1 June. It includes simplifying the pre-departure testing requirement, and exempt testing for transiting passengers, children (under the age of three) and previously infected persons. 'The adjustment of inbound control measures is a further step forward for the aviation industry, following the adjustment on 1 May. We are hopeful to see the further easing of inbound control measures, such as completely lifting the route-specific flight suspension mechanism, allowing home quarantine, further shortening the quarantine period, and the resumption of quarantine-free and testing-free travel, and finally lifting the mask-wearing requirement onboard. A phase-by-phase reopening is conducive to Hong Kong's position as an international aviation hub', the spokesperson for the forum said.
Furthermore, the spokesperson reminds members that they may post content on the group about the following topics without being considered advertising (R.A. 4 of 2022):
the addition, adjustment, and revocation of inbound travel restrictions;
inbound travel restrictions-related inquiries and support requests;
the transfer of, reservation status (including vacancy, price, and discounts), and staying experience of the designated quarantine hotel.
