Forum welcomes lifting pre-departure testing for arrivals

The Hong Kong Aviation Forum welcomes the Government's decision to lift the pre-departure testing starting today (1 April), meaning travellers are no longer required to conduct a rapid antigen test or polymerase chain reaction-based test before their flight to Hong Kong.

'The lifting of pre-departure testing marks the lifting of all COVID-19 travel restrictions. The adjustment of inbound control measures is a milestone for Hong Kong returning to normalcy,’ the spokesperson for the forum said.

'With all travel restrictions removed and the Chinese Mainland removing travel restrictions, we are confident that Hong Kong will reclaim its position as an international aviation hub and become better than ever,' the spokesperson added.
