Forum expresses solidarity with Tai Po and Hong Kong

With deep roots in this city, the Hong Kong Aviation Forum is profoundly saddened by the tragic fire in Tai Po. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all families who have suffered loss or trauma during this distressing time. We stand with the Tai Po community and with all of Hong Kong.

We pay tribute to the courageous emergency services and medical teams who have worked tirelessly to safeguard our community with extraordinary courage, dedication, and professionalism.

We are also grateful to the volunteers who offered support to those affected. Their compassion and solidarity are a testament to the resilience of our city and reflect the very best of Hong Kong’s spirit.

Tragedies of this magnitude weigh heavily on us all. To our aviation community, we emphasise the importance of prioritising your mental well-being.

If you are feeling overwhelmed or distressed, professional support is available through trusted resources, such as your company's Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). Seeking professional counsel can assist you in navigating through these challenging times.

Together, we will move beyond this storm.
