The situation of Wuhan Coronavirus continues to worsen. There is an increasing number of imported confirmed cases after the Lunar New Year holiday where a lot of them arrived by air.

People who are serving in the frontline aviation industry, such as ground agents are working in a dangerous environment. They are the first people to contact with an infected person. Many working as the frontline airport staff claimed they faced a lack of masks.

Hong Kong Aviation Forum urges the government to distribute government “CSI” masks to frontline airport staffs. It is good to know that the Airport Authority starts distributing surgical mask to staff from yesterday (7 Feb).
