Post approval requirement removed

The Hong Kong Aviation Forum on 18 July announced an amendment to the Approval of Post Regulation. The amendment removes the requirement for all posts to be approved by an administrator before they are published.

'We understand that members want to be able to share their thoughts and opinions on a variety of aviation-related topics without having to wait for their posts being held up for approval. This amendment will allow members to do that,' the spokesperson for the forum said.

'Members are still responsible for their posts and comments. The posts and comments should be regarded as their personal view and opinion, and the forum does not bear any liabilities or responsibilities of members' personal opinions posted on the forum.'

'Members should always abide by the rules of the forum. Any posts or comments that violate the rules will be removed by the administrators, and the member may be penalised according to relevant rules. Members are also reminded they unconditionally agree and must adhere to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy at all times.'

'The forum is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our members to ask questions, initiate discussions, and share their opinions on aviation-related matters. The forum encourages members to post and share more in the forum. Members' contributions are essential to the forum’s success.'

The full text of the amended Approval of Post Regulation is available on the forum website.
