Hong Kong scraps all on-arrival restrictions

Starting tomorrow (29 Dec), Hong Kong will drop a series of epidemic restrictions, aiming to bring the city back to normalcy.

Inbound persons arriving from overseas places, the Mainland, Macao and Taiwan will no longer need to conduct mandatory PCR tests upon and after arrival. They are advised to undergo 5-day RATs.

The health declaration form is also no longer mandatory. However, travellers must still complete a rapid antigen test before departure.

Travellers can now layover in Hong Kong and continue to their final destination without the risk of being isolated because of testing positive on arrival.

The city's vaccine pass will also be scrapped.
